Adopting a child can and should be one of the most joyous experiences of a new parent's life. It is perhaps the most serious, beautiful and rewarding decision you can make; however, it doesn't come without its obstacles. With all the nervousness, excitement, and joy, there is usually a good bit of uncertainty and complexity.

Child Custody

In or after a divorce, the most important issues center around children: Who has physical custody of the child? Who makes the primary life decisions for the child? Who pays the tab and how? For good reason, these issues are and should be subject to aggressive litigation. They are issues worthy of serious inquiry and attention, requiring an experienced family law attorney to help you make the right decision for your children.

Child Support

Once the question of child custody is answered, we still must address the complicated decisions about a sustainable financing framework for the best interest of the child. This is what is known as child support. Our family law attorneys can help you reach the best outcome in this process.

Divorce can be one of the most trying things for couples and families to go through, which is why Wiggins Norris Coffey makes finding the right family law attorney the least of your worries. It is our mission to ease this transition and help you adjust to your new normal.
